Welcome to my first post in Montreal!
I had a hankering for General Tao’s chicken last night, and found that Beijing wasn’t very far from where I’m staying. So I decided to pop over and grab some take out.
Service was friendly and fast, the General Tao’s was pretty good (although I’m hoping to make my own version using J. Kenji López-Alt’s recipe on Serious Eats) and the price wasn’t too bad either for the portion.
Would eat there again!

In the background, you’ll see some soju. Turns out, I don’t really like soju very much. I’ll try it again some time, but to me it just tastes like watered down, very slightly sweet vodka. Which I guess is what it is. Maybe I just need to acquire a taste for it!
