Crepes
On a whim, I whipped up a simple crepe batter as a snowstorm Saturday breakfast, using Serious Eats as my reference to riff on
Ingredients:
- Vanilla extract
- Flour
- Sugar
- 1 egg
- A pinch of salt
- Cream (any other liquid dairy would probably work)
- Canola oil (a little in the batter, and some for the pan)
Some of my crepes, I put some peanut butter in before I rolled them, one I put a piece of chocolate I found from a cookie, and others, since I had no maple syrup, I used a tiny bit of maple whiskey (Sortilege) drizzled on
A good way to start a weekend morning :)
